Patriots' Will Campbell Reportedly on Track to Make NFL Debut vs. Raiders amid Injury

Paul KasabianSep 6, 2025

New England Patriots rookie offensive tackle Will Campbell, who is listed as questionable on the team's injury report with an ankle injury, is "on track" to play Sunday versus the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, according to Jordan Schultz.

The Patriots selected the former LSU star with the No. 4 overall pick in the NFL draft.

Campbell wasn't initially listed on the Patriots' injury report on Wednesday, but he was a limited participant on Thursday and Friday.

Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald provided a hopeful update on Campbell on Friday.

That's certainly good news as New England looks to start year one under head coach Mike Vrabel on a high note.

The Patriots obviously have huge plans for Campbell, their left tackle of the present and future. He's charged with defending the blind side of quarterback Drake Maye, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft who showed great promise in his rookie season.

All signs point to him being out there Sunday when the Patriots host Las Vegas. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium.
