Myles Garrett 'Ready to Go' for Browns' NFL Week 1 Opener vs. Bengals amid Hip Injury
Myles Garrett had a brief injury scare ahead of the Cleveland Browns' season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals, but the star pass rusher returned to practice and is set to play on Sunday.
"We're ready to go. Had some pain yesterday. I'm good today," Garrett said, per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN).
Garrett did not practice on Thursday because of a hip injury, though he was seen outside the practice facility walking fine, per Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot.

Garrett has been an iron man over the last few seasons, playing 16 or more game every year since 2021. Last season, he racked up 47 tackles, 14 sacks and a career-high 22 tackles for loss.
The Browns rewarded him with a four-year, $160 million contract this offseason.
Now, Garrett will get his season started against the Bengals and quarterback Joe Burrow, whom Garrett has sacked nine times, his most against any quarterback in the NFL. He has recorded multi-sack games against Burrow three times.
"I know they'll have the majority of the attention pointed at me," Garrett said. "I know there'll be some chips, some doubles, there'll be some slides. So just trying to get ahead of that."
