Christian McCaffrey Officially Questionable
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Christian McCaffrey did not practice on Friday and is listed as questionable for the 49ers' season opener.
McCaffrey was a limited participant in Thursday's practice due to a calf issue. That was the news that sent alarm bells through the fantasy football community.
There's reason to be worried about how McCaffrey will affect fantasy teams in 2025 because he only played in four games last season.
McCaffrey has dealt with calf issues in the past, which is why the news of him missing practice on Friday is so concerning.
Brian Robinson, who was recently acquired from the Washington Commanders, is listed as the 49ers backup running back. He is worth looking at on the waiver wire in case McCaffrey is unable to play on Sunday.

Hill had been a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday due to oblique and calf issues.
Hill's status is a welcome sight not just for fantasy players with him on the roster, but for those who drafted Tua Tagovailoa as well.
Hill and Jaylen Waddle should receive most of the targets inside the Miami passing game with tight end Darren Waller ruled out.
Miami's offense will be at near full strength on Sunday. Running back De'Von Achane was also a full participant in practice on Friday.
The Dolphins are going up against a Colts defense that gave up the seventh-most passing yards in 2024. They might be able to exploit some weaknesses in the secondary to start the season off on the right for themselves and fantasy players relying on their production.
