Mike Vrabel Responds to Bill Belichick Banning Patriots Staffers from UNC CFB Program
The latest unusual approach to college football from Bill Belichick and North Carolina included banning New England Patriots staff from visiting the program and scouting players.
Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel called it "an individual choice."
"That's an individual choice and we'll cross that bridge when we start looking at players," Vrabel told reporters. "I'm going to focus on our football team. That's their prerogative to make the decision that they feel like is best for them and then we'll have to find out the ways to get the information for any players that we want to look at from North Carolina."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Not only has Belichick banned scouts from the Patriots, but he has also limited all NFL personnel, two NFL scouts told ESPN's Kalyn Kahler. According to Kahler, teams are only allowed to speak with North Carolina pro liaison Frantzy Jourdain, and scouts won't have access to coaches and personnel in Chapel Hill.
Most college football coaches welcome NFL scouts, as players getting drafted is usually a good sign for the state of a program and can help tremendously in recruiting.
Belichick, however, seemingly isn't interested in working with his former team, and time will tell whether that approach hurts his chances of succeeding with the Tar Heels.
