Cardi B Details How Boyfriend Stefon Diggs Has 'Inspirational' NFL Work Ethic

Stefon Diggs has had a long offseason between rehabbing a torn ACL and settling into the New England Patriots' offense.

His girlfriend, rapper Cardi B, commended his work ethic, calling it "inspirational."

"He has to do two different things: learn his playbook and get physical. He has to be in bed at a certain time and wake up at a certain time," she said, per People's Daniela Avila.

"I'm like, 'Oh, my gosh. You're literally in the military. You really work hard.' I work hard, but I can take a little break," Cardi continued. "I can lay back and I don't have to be running, but it's very inspirational to see how hard somebody works. It's just like, 'Wow. You should be proud of yourself.'"

Diggs was once one of the league's top wide receivers, recording six consecutive seasons with 1,000 or more receiving yards. Unfortunately, he faced a setback last season when he suffered one of the first long-term injuries of his career.

The torn ACL limited him to just eight games, and he recorded 496 yards and three touchdowns for the Houston Texans.

Now, Diggs is expected to be on the field for the Patriots' Week 1 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, where he should be one of the focal points of the offense.

He's clearly worked hard this offseason, and he'll look to see that hard work pay off with a strong year.
