Seahawks Say Undercover Law Enforcement Will Wear Opponents' Jerseys at Home Games
The Seattle Seahawks are known for having some of the most raucous fans in the NFL, but those who cross the line could be in for a rude awakening.
In an effort to reduce unruly fan behavior, the Seahawks announced that undercover law enforcement officers will be wearing opposing team jerseys during home games at Lumen Field during the 2025 season.

The Seahawks released a list of behaviors that would cause law enforcement or Lumen Field staff to "intervene to support an environment where all fans can enjoy the game."
While an increased law enforcement presence could create a safer atmosphere for Seattle fans, putting them in opposing team jerseys could cause confusion and lead to some questionable situations.
The Seahawks will open the 2025 season at home on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.
