WNBA's Angel Reese Joins 'TOGETHXR' Ownership Group, Partners with Alex Morgan, More
Chicago Sky star Angel Reese joined the ownership group of TOGETHXR, a media and commerce company that focuses on women's sports.
"It's huge for me," she said, per USA Today's Heather Burns. "It means standing alongside women who aren't just legends in their sports, but real trailblazers in business and culture. They've opened doors for so many of us, and now I get to lock arms with them and keep pushing things forward. That's powerful."
TOGETHXR was founded in 2021 by United States women's soccer legend Alex Morgan, 13-time WNBA All-Star Sue Bird, two-time Olympic gold medalist swimmer Simone Manuel, and two-time Olympic gold medalist snowboarder Chloe Kim.
2014 U.S. Women's Open champion Michelle Wie West also became an investor in May.
Bird emphasized how Reese fits into TOGETHXR's wider aims.
"TOGETHXR was built to challenge the system and prove what we've always known: that women in sports set the standard, shift the story, and drive the conversations that matter," she told Burns. "Angel Reese is already doing that. She brings a confidence and leadership that not only defines her but adds to the legacy we're building as we continue to push women's sports forward."
Reese became one of the biggest stars in college basketball thanks to her efforts in helping LSU win a national title in 2023, and her popularity has followed her to the WNBA. She was the second-highest merchandise seller as a rookie in 2024.
The 6'3" forward has delivered on the court as well. A two-time All-Star, she's averaging 14.1 points and 12.9 rebounds through 64 career games.
