Chiefs' Travis Kelce Does Patrick Mahomes Impression in Video Ahead of Chargers Game

"He had that one coming for telling everybody I didn't know where Brazil was on the map," Kelce said.
Mahomes ignited the fun back-and-forth when he threw a barb in Kelce's direction while speaking to reporters before the trip to São Paulo.
"The trainers and coaches have really done the research and they understand what we need to do, so now it's just going down there and playing football," Mahomes said. "I think more than anything it's just explaining to some guys how far the trip was. Some guys didn't understand how far the travel was. Travis, even though he just was down there last year, I was explaining to him how the globe works."
It appears that Kelce will get the last laugh as the Chiefs focus their attention on the Chargers. Kansas City is hoping to start the season off on the right foot after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX and falling short of the first three-peat in modern NFL history.
There's a different feeling for the Chiefs as they enter the season without being the defending champions for the first time in three years, but Kelce, Mahomes and company are embracing the opportunity to open the season in front of an international audience as they begin their quest to return to the mountaintop.
"It's an exciting time, you get to hang out around the guys and the team, and this is something that we'll all remember," Kelce said. "You're just in the moment, excited to play football tomorrow, but just enjoying the process of experiencing new things with the guys.
