MrBeast, Roger Goodell Team Up for NFL Commercial with Tyreek Hill, Speed, More

Mr. Beast has purchased the NFL.

No, the YouTube creator didn't actually buy the NFL, but he did partner up with the league for a commercial featuring a handful of NFL stars and YouTube creators like Speed, Dude Perfect and more.

In a new commercial for YouTube, Mr. Beast claims that he has expanded the NFL's roster size to make room for a YouTuber on each team.

Friday's matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo, Brazil, will be the first NFL game to air on YouTube. Ahead of the game, Mr. Beast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, partnered with YouTube to envision a new league that combines the NFL with notable YouTubers.

"Go big or go home, so for this one, I figured why not just buy the entire NFL?," Donaldson said in a press release. "Filming with Roger Goodell and bringing together the NFL and their global fans with some of the best creators on YouTube was an incredible experience. We're at this culture changing moment in entertainment and with the first live NFL game broadcasting on YouTube for free this Friday, we're showing the world that the most engaging way to experience sports is with the creators you love."

Airing a game on YouTube gives fans the opportunity to tune in for free, rather than having to pay for cable or a streaming service.

"Friday night's YouTube exclusive will be the most accessible game in NFL history," NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said. "Integrating MrBeast and some of the world's top creators will make this free experience even more special for fans of all ages."

The partnership between the NFL and YouTubers doesn't end with Mr. Beast's new commercial. Mr. Beast will hold a new challenge throughout the game and reveal the final prize during the post-game show.

There will also be an alternate broadcast featuring live commentary from IShowSpeed and Tom Grossi in English, or Robegrill and SKabeche in Spanish. Additionally, YouTube creator CazéTV will host a live broadcast from Arena Corinthians for Portuguese viewers.

Friday's broadcast will be different than any we've seen before, but with creators like Mr. Beast, IShow Speed and others leading the way, it should be entertaining.
