Saquon features five years of footage and covers chapters of Barkley's life including his recovery from ACL surgery, his failed contract negotiations with the Giants, his signing and Super Bowl win with the Eagles and his relationship with his family, according to a press release.
The documentary is directed by Alex Pappas and executive produced by Martin Scorsese, according to Prime Video.
Saquon is set to debut on Prime Video on Thursday, Oct. 9, the same day Barkley reunites with the Giants for the second time since leaving New York in free agency.
In Barkley's first reunion with his former team last season, he ran for 176 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' 28-3 Week 7 victory.
The documentary featuring Barkley won't be the only opportunity fans have to get a closer look at last season's championship team.
Amazon's announcement comes just ahead of the premiere of America's Game: The 2024 Philadelphia Eagles, which premieres Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET on NFL Network.
