Von Miller Compares Jayden Daniels to Kobe Bryant, 'He's on Attack Mode All the Time'
New Washington Commanders linebacker Von Miller has seen shades of an all-time great in Jayden Daniels ahead of the 2025 season.
On The Rich Eisen Show, Miller compared the second-year quarterback to Kobe Bryant, citing his mentality when he takes the field.
"He's angry out there, man. He just attacks, attacks, attacks," Daniels said (7:10 mark). "That's the kind of vibe you want coming from a quarterback. He has this shade of Kobe in him. It's good to be around him, man, he's a true competitor."

Miller added that Daniels, has taken on some of Bryant's practice habits, including talking trash to his teammates.
"He's a huge fan of Kobe. In the locker room, you just feel it, man," he said (7:45 mark). "He's a true competitor. Practicing against him, he's on attack mode all the time. He's talking trash with Bobby (Wagner) every day. They just go after it, man. It's really dope to be a part of that."
Daniels won the 2024 NFL Rookie of the Year award after throwing for 3,568 yards and 25 touchdowns, adding 891 rushing yards and six scores on the ground. He helped lead the Commanders to their first playoff win since 2005 and their first NFC championship game appearance since 1991.
Daniels' skills were evident throughout his rookie year. If he combines that with the Mamba mentality of Bryant, he could be on his way to a legendary career.
