Fantasy Football Sleeper Ollie Gordon II Hyped by NFL Scout, Compared to Corey Dillon
Miami Dolphins running back Ollie Gordon II hasn't received as much hype as some of his fellow rookies, but he could be a fantasy football sleeper this season.
Per The Athletic's Jordan Rodrigue, Gordon received some early hype from an NFC scout, who compared him to former running back Corey Dillon.
"(He's a) big back with subtle feet," the scout said. "Tough, and he could help Miami salt away leads like former CIN/NE clock-killing Corey Dillon used to back in the day. If he runs hard like he did in the preseason, watch out."

Dillon regularly put together 1,000-plus rushing-yard seasons, and he excelled at picking up yards late in the game as his teams looked to run the clock down. If Gordon does that, he could be good for plenty of fantasy points this season.
Gordon isn't going to be the first running back off the board in fantasy drafts, but he could be a solid late-round pick up to use in the flex spot.
The two running backs ahead of him on the Dolphins' depth chart, De'Von Achane and Jaylen Wright, have been dealing with injuries heading into the season, so Gordon could have the chance to get some early reps in Miami.
Gordon's best season at Oklahoma State saw him rush for 1,732 yards and 21 touchdowns. If he can return to the 2023 version of himself this year, he might be a problem for opposing defenses.
