Tom Brady Calls Prime Aaron Rodgers 'Greatest Passer of the Football' in NFL History
Aaron Rodgers is unlikely to top a lot of lists for the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, but Tom Brady believes he warrants a special distinction.
Chatting with Pro Football Focus' Cris Collinsworth, Brady said the prime version of Rodgers was "the greatest passer of the football the league's ever seen."
"He could get the ball from Point A to B faster and more accurate than any player I think in the history of the NFL," the retired quarterback said starting at the 43:15 mark.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Brady went on to single out 2011 as a special period for Rodgers.
Based on almost every measurement, that's when the 41-year-old was at his apex. He was an MVP and an All-Pro for the first time. He threw for 4,643 yards and 45 touchdowns while leading the NFL in passer rating (122.5) and QBR (83.8).
His QB rating from 2011 remains a single-season record, and his 10.5 adjusted yards per attempt trail only Sid Luckman (10.96 in 1943) and Nick Foles (10.54 in 2013).
The Packers went 15-1 that year, only to lose to the eventual Super Bowl champion New York Giants in the NFC divisional round.
That basically serves as a microcosm of Rodgers' wider legacy. Fair or not, the fact he only has one Super Bowl title to date doesn't compare favorably to Brady's seven championships. Joe Montana collected four rings. Peyton Manning and John Elway each have two. Patrick Mahomes has reached the NFL summit three times already.
Some skeptics will argue Rodgers should've achieved more at a team level if he was as good as his numbers indicated.
Those who watched him play will nonetheless attest to the 10-time Pro Bowler's individual skill.
