LaNorris Sellers Deemed 'Cheat Code' by NFL Exec After South Carolina's Win vs. VT
South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers made a strong first impression for the 2025 season in the Gamecocks' 24-11 win over Virginia Tech on Sunday.
An NFL executive described Sellers as a "cheat code" due to his "size and speed," according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

Sellers was efficient through the air, finishing 12-of-19 for 209 yards and a touchdown without getting picked off. He also rushed for 24 yards and a score, which included a 15-yard touchdown run to cap off South Carolina's first drive of the game.
The Gamecocks only led by two points entering the fourth quarter, but gained some separation with an 80-yard punt return touchdown from Vicari Swain before Sellers put the game away with a 64-yard touchdown pass to Nyck Harbor.
Sellers is already coming off an encouraging 2024 campaign in which he threw for 2,534 yards and 18 touchdowns compared to seven interceptions, picking up 674 yards and seven scores on the ground.
The redshirt sophomore is an intriguing prospect considering his dual-threat ability paired with his size, as he's listed at 6'3" and 240 pounds.
Sellers was ranked as the No. 5 quarterback and No. 26 overall player in the latest 2026 big board from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department.
If he can build upon his stellar season debut, NFL interest in Sellers will continue to ramp up.
