WWE's Cody Rhodes, Wife Brandi Announce Birth of Daughter Leilani in New Photo

Brandi Rhodes announced the birth of her second daughter with her husband, reigning WWE champion Cody Rhodes, on Friday.

Leilani Ella Runnels joins the couple's other daughter, Liberty, who is now four years old.

Much like Cody's return to WWE at WrestleMania 38, he and Brandi managed to keep Leilani's birth under wraps, as they never publicly announced a pregnancy.

Cody even had Brandi on his What Do You Wanna to Talk About? podcast back in May, and no indication was given that Brandi was pregnant.

The American Nightmare has been absent from WWE programming since the Aug. 8 episode of SmackDown when he teamed up with John Cena against Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul in the main event.

After the match, McIntyre hit Cody with a Claymore through the front of the announce table, seemingly starting up a feud for the WWE Championship.

However, it seemingly also served as a way to write Cody off WWE programming so he could be with Brandi leading up to the birth of their child.

Given that Leilani was just born, it is perhaps safe to assume that Cody won't be part of Friday's SmackDown in France or the Clash in Paris premium live event on Sunday.

When Cody does return, though, he will already have a built-in rivalry with McIntyre that could lead to a title match at Wrestlepalooza next month.
