Patrick, Brittany Mahomes Celebrate Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Engagement in IG Photos

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, are celebrating the Tuesday announcement of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

Both Patrick and Brittany shared the post announcing the couple's engagement on their Instagram stories.

"Two of the most genuine people meet & fall in love. Just so happy for these two," Brittany wrote in her story caption.

Patrick meanwhile captioned his story repost with a trio of heart emojis.

Swift announced her engagement to Kelce in a Tuesday Instagram post captioned, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married."

CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones reported Tuesday that the announcement surprised "a number of folks within the Chiefs organization."

That number may not have included Mahomes and his wife, who have been regularly publicly seen with Swift and Kelce since the couple began publicly dating in 2023.

Both Brittany Mahomes and Swift could potentially be in attendance during the Chiefs' season opener on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 5.
