Ben DiNucci Posts Photo of Beer Order at Airport, Jokes About Being Cut by Falcons
Free-agent quarterback Ben DiNucci posted a viral photo of himself having a beer on social media after getting released by the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday.
"Not many beers better than the airport 'I just got cut from the NFL for the 7th time' beer," DiNucci wrote in the caption. "Trust me, you wouldn't understand."

On Saturday, the Falcons announced that DiNucci was one of 12 players that were cut as they started to trim their roster down ahead of Tuesday's 53-man deadline.
The 28-year-old was signed by Atlanta on Monday following an injury to reserve quarterback Emory Jones.
DiNucci briefly appeared in the Falcons' 31-13 preseason loss at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys on Friday, attempting two passes and tossing an interception.
It would have been difficult for him to earn a role on the regular-season roster in Atlanta with Michael Penix Jr. and Kirk Cousins occupying the top two spots on the team's depth chart. Easton Stick is also the Falcons' third-string passer.
DiNucci was originally selected by the Dallas Cowboys with a seventh-round pick in the 2020 NFL draft, throwing for 219 yards in three appearances as a rookie.
He spent time with the Buffalo Bills in Aug. 2024, but was released before the start of the regular season. DiNucci went on the join the New Orleans Saints in Dec. 2024 before he was cut in April.
The signal caller is hitting free agency once again, but he hinted at a career update in an earlier social media post on Saturday.
While DiNucci's NFL future is uncertain heading into the 2025 season, he was still able to joke about his latest release.
