While Gabriel drew praise, others took to social media to question Sanders' ability to transition to the NFL.
This was the Browns' final preseason game, so it could be the final time fans get a true look at Sanders and Gabriel in game action. Gabriel finished his preseason by throwing for 272 yards with one touchdown and one interception while Sanders threw for 152 yards with two touchdowns.
The Browns named veteran Joe Flacco as the Week 1 starting quarterback and he also played in Saturday's matchup. While Gabriel and Sanders will likely be on backup duty this season, the final preseason game gives Cleveland and its fans a good indication of how the rookies have developed.
