Alex Ovechkin-Themed Corn Maze Honoring Capitals Icon's NHL Goals Record Seen in Photo
Washington Capitals' legend Alex Ovechkin set the all-time goals record this past season, besting Wayne Gretzky's previous record of 894 goals and reaching 897 tallies of his own.
A farm in Maryland is celebrating the achievement in grandiose fashion, creating an ornate corn maze featuring an image of Ovechkin:

Whether Ovechkin will stretch out his all-time goals lead remains to be seen, with rumors over the summer he might retire or return to Russia to play in the KHL. The Capitals' star hasn't confirmed his plans one way or another, however.
"Anything is possible," he said in July. "I'm not saying no, but I'm not saying yes, either."
He also said in April that he wasn't planning on retiring, another hint that he may be returning for one more NHL season.
Time will tell. While you wait on that decision, you could always get yourself lost in the giant corn maze that's been created in his honor.
