Justin Thomas Recalls Tiger Woods Trolling Him with Masters Green Jacket on Video

Tiger Woods is not above trolling if you try to prank him about missing the cut at a tournament, as Justin Thomas found out back in 2020.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Thomas recalled a story from the Tour Championship five years ago when he was joking with Woods on FaceTime about missing the cut.

According to Thomas, Woods faked like his phone was cutting out and then called back a couple of minutes later wearing a green jacket from one of his Masters victories.

Woods only has five of those green jackets, so hopefully he was careful in putting one on to make his joke work.

This is the danger of trying to prank arguably the greatest player in the history of the sport. Even when Woods doesn't make the cut at a tournament, how do you say anything when he can come back with something from one of his 15 major tournament wins?

On top of the 15 majors, Woods has three wins at the Tour Championship.

Thomas is no slouch when it comes to success on the PGA Tour. He has two major championships, both at the PGA Championship, among his 16 career PGA Tour victories.

Woods' most recent victory was at the 2019 Zoso Championship in October 2019. It was his 82nd career PGA Tour win, tied with Sam Snead for the most all-time.
