Fantasy Football 2025 Flex Rankings, Team Names and More Draft Cheat Sheets
Flex players are the wide receivers, running backs, and tight ends who tally receptions, yards, and touchdowns in fantasy football and, ultimately, have the most impact on a manager's pursuit of a victory.
In PPR (points per reception) leagues, their influence on the outcome of any given match-up is even more significant.
Ahead of the upcoming fantasy season, find out who the top targets and who the top quarterbacks are to get them the ball in this preview.

Is Jahmyr Gibbs Fantasy Football's RB1?
4 of 4.jpg)
In short, yes.
The Detroit Lions halfback, entering his third season in the NFL, followed up a solid rookie campaign with a breakout second year. The all-purpose back out of Alabama rushed for 1,412 yards and 16 touchdowns, while adding 63 receptions, 517 yards, and four touchdowns in 2024.
With new offensive coordinator John Morton stepping in for Ben Johnson, who took the Chicago Bears head coaching gig this off-season, knowing how to utilize offensive playmakers to their fullest potential, do not expect Gibbs' production to fall off.
If anything, the speedy back with strong pass-catching ability should become even more valuable to fantasy managers. A 1,500-yard season with an uptick in receiving touchdowns should not be out of the question as the Lions offense looks to pick right up where Johnson left off.
It is a tall task, but Gibbs proved himself as both a centerpiece of the unit and one of the most dynamic young playmakers in the league. Some managers will opt to take Bijan Robinson from Atlanta over him, thanks to what they saw on tape last season.
Still, Gibbs was 21.2 points better than the former Texas Longhorn in PPR leagues a season ago, and there is nothing about the Lions' setup that suggests Gibbs will not have every opportunity to repeat his performance from last year and emerge as the undisputed RB1 in fantasy football in 2025.
