Naomi, Jimmy Uso Announce Pregnancy in WWE Raw Video, Star Will Vacate Women's Title

Naomi and Jimmy Uso brought big news to the WWE world on Monday.

On the What's Your Story podcast with Steph McMahon, the couple announced that they're expecting a child. Because Naomi will be out of competition, she'll have to vacate her women's title.

"We need y'all to proceed with caution, because there is a baby on board," Uso said. "We're pregnant. We're all the way pregnant."

Naomi was expected to defend her title against Iyo Sky on last week's episode of Monday Night Raw, but WWE announced a few hours ahead of the fight that it had been cancelled because Naomi had not been medically cleared.

Naturally, that led to speculation about a possible injury, but she cleared the air with her big announcement on Monday.

It's been a big summer for Naomi, even before the announcement.

She cashed in on her Money in the Bank contract during a match between Sky and Rhea Ripley to become women's world champion at  Evolution last month. After that win, she went up against Sky and Ripley in a Triple Threat at SummerSlam with her title on the line, and she defended it with a win.

She'll now have to give up her title, but she made it clear she'll be back for it very soon.

"I'm gonna leave my title here, and I'm gonna give you heffers nine months and some change to do whatever you wanna do with my title," Naomi said. "And even if I gotta come back, breastfeed with my baby in my arm, I'm coming back to pick up where I left off. And whoever has that title when I do, I strongly advise you to proceed with caution."
