Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes is aware that sustained success is often followed by people waiting to see you fail.
"People start to turn on you," he said in a snippet from ESPN's six-part docuseries The Kingdom (1:50 mark), which chronicled the team's attempt to win a third straight Super Bowl during the 2024 season. "You kinda become this villain. But for me, it's more just about playing the game the right way.
