Jaxson Dart 'Talented as F--k' and Hyped by Giants WR After Impressive Preseason Stats

Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart has already made a strong impression on his New York Giants teammates with just two preseason games under his belt.

"I ain’t gonna lie: He’s talented. He’s talented as f--k," Giants wide receiver Zach Pascal said of Dart, per Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News. "I’m blessed to be able to be in camp with him, but I’m pretty sure later in his future career, he’s gonna be one of them ones."

Dart has looked comfortable in the pocket throughout a pair of preseason appearances with New York, completing 74.3 percent of his throws for 291 yards and two touchdowns without getting picked off.

The Giants selected Dart in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft out of Ole Miss, trading up to add him with the No. 25 overall pick.

While Russell Wilson remains entrenched as New York's starter heading into Week 1 of the regular season, the 36-year-old doesn't project as a long-term solution under center after signing a one-year deal to join the team in free agency.

Dart was listed at No. 3 behind Wilson and Jameis Winston on the Giants' latest unofficial depth chart, but could challenge for playing time as a rookie if the two veterans struggle to make an impact.

He appears to be rapidly gaining the support of his teammates as well.
