Scottie Scheffler Reflects on Chip-In Birdie in Viral BMW Championship Video
Scottie Scheffler discussed his impressive chip-in birdie during his BMW Championship victory on Sunday.
"It looked good when it landed, looked good when it was rolling, and it was nice to see that one go in," Scheffler said, per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN).
On the par-3 17th hole at Caves Valley Golf Club, Scheffler chipped in from roughly 82 feet away and took a two-shot lead in the competition.

The shot earned him praise from fellow star athletes such as LeBron James and Patrick Mahomes.
The chip-in came at a crucial time, with Scheffler only holding a one-shot lead over the rest of the field prior to the birdie.
He finished at 15-under 265 and claimed his fifth PGA Tour title in 2025. It marked Scheffler's second consecutive year with at least five PGA Tour victories, becoming the first player to accomplish the feat since Tiger Woods in 2007 (via ESPN).
Although Scheffler amassed three bogeys on Sunday, he also racked up six birdies and surpassed Robert MacIntyre to clinch a victory.
MacIntyre led through each of the first three rounds of the event and held a four-shot lead heading into Sunday's action but couldn't keep up with the four-time major champion in the final round, as he didn't record his first birdie until hole No. 16.
He shot 73 and ended Round 4 with four bogeys, culminating in a runner-up finish.
Scheffler will now look ahead to the Tour Championship, which begins on Thursday.
