The Philadelphia Eagles reportedly bolstered the team's receiving corps on Sunday.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Philadelphia acquired wide receiver John Metchie III in a trade with the Houston Texans.

Both teams swapped future Day 3 draft picks and Houston received tight end Harrison Bryant in the swap, per ESPN's DJ Bien-Aime.

The Eagles entered the day with just over $30 million in cap space, via Over the Cap. That total should drop down to roughly $28.6 million when factoring in Metchie's $2.57 million cap number as well as the departure of Bryant and his $1.2 million cap charge in 2025.

Meanwhile, the Texans had $14.7 million in cap space prior to the deal and should now have just over $16 million in cap flexibility following the trade.
