Bo Jackson's Grand-Nephew Shedrick Leads Raiders in Receptions vs. 49ers in Preseason
It must run in the Jackson family when it comes to the Raiders.
Shedrick Jackson, who is the grand-nephew of the legendary Bo Jackson, tied for the team lead in receptions during the Las Vegas Raiders' 22-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Saturday's preseason game.
Jackson finished with three catches for 28 yards, while Raheem Mostert posted three catches for 16 yards.

NFL's Most Exciting Camp Battles ⚔️
It isn't the first time Jackson made an impression this preseason, as he tallied four catches for 76 yards and a highlight-reel touchdown in Las Vegas' first contest against the Seattle Seahawks:
Such a highlight play is fitting considering that is what Bo Jackson was known for during his NFL career.
Jackson posted the longest run in the NFL in three of his four seasons with the Raiders with one going for 91 yards in 1987, one going for 92 yards in 1989 and one going for 88 yards during his Pro Bowl season in 1990.
Shedrick Jackson hasn't made the same impact as Bo Jackson, but he is getting a chance to shine this preseason after joining the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2023.
He played just five games for Cincinnati during that 2023 season with most of his appearances coming on special teams. He then joined the Raiders' practice squad in December 2024.
If he continues to play well in the preseason, Las Vegas might find a spot for him on its active roster when it opens the 2025 campaign against the New England Patriots on Sept. 7.
