Terrell Owens' Son Terique Makes 1st Career Catch for 49ers, Congratulated by NFL Fans
For a moment during Saturday's preseason game against the Las Vegas Raiders, it seemed as if the San Francisco 49ers had turned back the clock with an Owens streaking through the opposing secondary.
Only this time, it wasn't Terrell Owens.
It was his son, Terique.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Terique broke free and made a catch against the Raiders, which led to plenty of reaction on social media:
He is following in quite the footsteps, as Terrell Owens is one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history with a Hall of Fame resume that includes five First-Team All-Pro nods, six Pro Bowl selections, nine seasons with more than 1,000 receiving yards and three seasons when he led the league in touchdown catches.
The older Owens is eighth on the NFL's all-time receptions list (1,078), third in receiving yards (15,934) and third in touchdown catches (153).
As for Terique, the 49ers added him as an undrafted free agent after the 2024 NFL draft, but he started the year on injured reserve before he was added to the practice squad. He remains on the roster ahead of the 2025 campaign as the 49ers deal with some uncertainty at the wide receiver position.
Ricky Pearsall has worked his way back from a hamstring concern, Brandon Aiyuk is still recovering from a knee injury and Demarcus Robinson could be suspended to start the season.
As a result, Owens got an opportunity during Saturday's game and made the most of it with his first career catch.
