Eagles' A.J. Brown, Packers' Xavier McKinney Named Nos. 29, 30 on 2025 NFL Top 100

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown and Green Bay Packers safety Xavier McKinney are the newest entries in the list of the NFL's Top 100 players going into the 2025 season.

Despite winning a Super Bowl in 2024, Brown fell slightly from No. 21 to 29.

Coming in at No. 30, this is a big jump for McKinney after he was unranked last year.

Hamstring and knee injuries caused Brown to miss four games last year, and his production suffered as a result. His 67 receptions and 1,079 receiving yards were his fewest in an Eagles uniform.

The 28-year-old averaged 83 yards per contest, though, which were on par with what he had done the previous two seasons. They were also the fifth-most in the league.

Brown reinforced his value by grabbing nine passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns between the NFC title game and Philadelphia's Super Bowl LIX win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

"He's still awesome," one AFC scout told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. "He comes up big when you need him, he's still incredibly strong and fast enough. A nightmare to tackle. Maybe a tad slower than he was, but that's slight."

Despite playing down any lingering animosity toward the team, McKinney seemed to play with a chip on his shoulder after the New York Giants let him walk as a free agent.

The 2020 second-round pick finished with 88 tackles, and his eight interceptions trailed only Detroit Lions safety Kerby Joseph. He was a Pro Bowler and All-Pro for the first time, and he placed eighth in the Defensive Player of the Year voting.

For obvious reasons, the Giants became a regular source of mockery thanks to the success of Saquon Barkley in Philly. McKinney was arguably a bigger indictment of New York's player development record because his performance with the Giants was such a vast improvement over what he did in the Big Apple.

Especially after Joseph reset the market, the four-year, $67 million deal he signed with Green Bay already looks like a bargain.
