Emeka Egbuka Scores 1st NFL TD as Fans Hype Fantasy Potential After Bucs vs. Steelers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers first-round pick Emeka Egbuka gave fans something to cheer about during Saturday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, hauling in his first NFL touchdown on his only reception of the night.
The No. 19 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft out of Ohio State continued his strong preseason showing. In his debut, Egbuka recorded 21 yards on a single catch in the Bucs’ 29-7 win over the Tennessee Titans. The team has been gradually easing the 22-year-old into action ahead of the regular season.
Egbuka’s touchdown came in tight coverage in the end zone, where he dropped low to secure a well-placed pass from quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, giving the Bucs a 14-7 lead before halftime.
