Ashton Jeanty bounced back from a quiet preseason debut on Saturday, impressing Las Vegas Raiders fans with a second-quarter touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers and a much more confident performance.
The No. 6 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft out of Boise State recorded 33 yards on seven carries and one touchdown in less than two quarters of play, showcasing the explosiveness, power and vision that made him a top-10 selection.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In his NFL debut last Saturday, Jeanty managed just three carries for minus-1 yard — a shaky start that briefly raised concerns, especially given his dominant 2024 college season, when he led all of FBS with 2,601 rushing yards.
Raiders fans took to social media to praise the rookie running back for his strong performance, expressing renewed excitement ahead of the regular season.
Jeanty’s touchdown wasn’t his only highlight on the day. The 21-year-old turned heads with his physical running style, shedding tacklers and picking up tough yardage — proving that his 5'8'' frame is more than enough to hold up in the NFL.
Jeanty and the Raiders will wrap up their preseason next Saturday on the road against the Arizona Cardinals.
