Jaguars' Cam Little Gets 99 Kick Power Madden Rating After 70-Yard FG in NFL Preseason

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little's impressive 70-yard field goal during the team's 31-25 preseason defeat at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers was reflected in his latest Madden NFL 26 rating.

Little's kick power rating was boosted from 94 to 99 in the video game.

The 21-year-old hit the field goal just before halftime against Pittsburgh, setting a preseason record while doing so. It also would have broken the NFL record by four yards if it had occurred in a regular-season game.

Little revealed that there was some uncertainty before the attempt, although he had hit field goals from beyond 65 yards in practice before.

"Can't lie, there was probably a little bit of doubt," Little said afterwards, per ESPN's Michael DiRocco. "But I mean, we attempted a lot of long field goals in training camp. Had some 60, probably 65-pluses before [in practice]. And so, you know, I really wanted to just go out there and see what it would do."

Given Little's historic accomplishment, it's understandable that his kick power improved to the highest rating that can possibly be achieved in the game.

His rating was already fairly high, as the 2024 sixth-round pick is coming off an encouraging rookie year. Little connected on 27 of his 29 field-goal attempts last season, which included five of his six attempts from at least 50 yards.
