Andrew PetersAug 14, 2025

Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison Sr. were one of the best duos in the NFL during their playing days, and Manning met up with Harrison's son this week.

Manning dropped by the Arizona Cardinals facilities on Thursday and snapped a picture with Harrison's son, second-year receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.

Manning and Harrison played together with the Indianapolis Colts from 1998 to 2008, connecting on 953 passes for 12,766 yards and 112 touchdowns, the most by a quarterback-wide receiver duo in NFL history.

The two won a Super Bowl together in 2007 and are now in the Hall of Fame.

Now, Harrison's son is looking to follow in his father's footsteps and put together a strong NFL career.

Harrison Jr. had an outstanding collegiate career at Ohio State, collecting 1,211 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns in 2023, enough for him to be named a Heisman Trophy finalist. That led to the Cardinals drafting him fourth overall in last year's NFL draft.

He had a decent start to his NFL career last year, collecting 885 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. The Cardinals improved from the 2023 season, doubling their win total and going 8-9, but it wasn't quite enough to make the playoffs.

Harrison and the Cardinals will kick off their season on Sept. 7 with a matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
