Taylor Swift on Travis Kelce's 'New Heights' Produces 3,000% Increase in New Listeners

The people love Taylor Swift.

Swift made a highly anticipated appearance on the New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce on Wednesday and drove a shocking amount of audience members to the platform. The YouTube stream has more than 11 million views as of Thursday at 3:30 p.m. ET.

The impressive numbers don't stop there, as Gil Kaufman of Billboard reported the episode led to a 3,000 percent increase in new listeners to the podcast on Spotify. What's more, there was a 2,500 percent increase in average streams.

While the Kelce brothers are celebrities themselves with large fanbases from their careers on the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, the numbers are a testament to Swift's popularity as one of the most famous people in the world.

The music superstar discussed her relationship with Travis Kelce and talked about how much of a football fan she has become over the past couple of years. However, the biggest news didn't have much to do with the world of sports.

Swift revealed her new album will be titled "The Life of a Showgirl" and is scheduled for an Oct. 3 release date. She also announced the track list, which notably includes a feature from Sabrina Carpenter on the title track:

There is no doubt the Kelce brothers' podcast will continue to put up impressive numbers during the 2025 NFL season, especially as Travis chases another Super Bowl title in what could end up being his final season before retirement.

The Chiefs figure to remain at the center of the NFL this season with Patrick Mahomes leading a potential championship push, and that will generate plenty of headlines.

But it isn't going to generate as many headlines as Swift's appearance did Wednesday, and the numbers back it up.
