After ranking 12th on the Top 100 list in 2023, Jacobs didn't make the list at all last year following his final season with the Las Vegas Raiders. It didn't take long for him to get acclimated to a new team, as he returned to form in his first season with the Packers.
Jacobs played in all 17 games and ranked sixth in the NFL with 1,329 rushing yards and fourth with a career-high 15 rushing touchdowns on 301 carries. He also added 36 catches for 342 yards and his first career receiving touchdown. He was named to the Pro Bowl for the third time in his six-year career.
Jacobs' presence added a new wrinkle to the Packers offense as they finished with an 11-6 record and made the playoffs before losing to the eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Wild Card Round. In that game, Jacobs totaled 121 yards from scrimmage and scored Green Bay's lone touchdown.
The Packers are looking to jump to title contention this year, so they will need another strong season from Jacobs as they chase their first Lombardi Trophy since 2010.
Baker was ranked 89th on the 2024 NFL Top 100 list, so this represents a big jump for him. He ranked as high as 19th on the list in the 2021 edition.
The eight-year veteran is coming off one of the best seasons of his career, appearing all 17 games and producing a career-high 164 total tackles, five passes defended, two sacks and a forced fumble. He earned second-team All-Pro honors and was selected to his seventh Pro Bowl.
Baker's stellar year helped the Cardinals make an impressive improvement on the defensive end, going from ranking 31st in scoring defense in 2023 with 26.9 points allowed per game to 15th in 2024 with 22.3. Unfortunately, Arizona finished with an 8-9 record and missed the playoffs for the third consecutive year.
Baker doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon, so he will undoubtedly be looking for another big year as the Cardinals push for playoff contention in the NFC.
