Bills' Damar Hamlin Gets Full-Back Tattoo in Remembrance of Cardiac Arrest in Photo

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin has documented his harrowing experience from experiencing cardiac arrest on the playing field during a Jan. 2023 game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a full-back tattoo, as was recently revealed on Instagram.

Hamlin had previously gotten a tattoo on the back of his neck to mark the one-year anniversary of the incident.

The 27-year-old made a full recovery and returned to the playing field in the 2023 season. Last year he emerged as a starting safety for the Bills, registering 89 tackles, two interceptions, a fumble recovery and five passes defensed in 14 games.

He remains one of the most inspirational stories in sports, and now has extensive ink documenting that fateful day in Jan. 2023.
