Taylor Swift made her long-awaited appearance on the New Heights podcast, co-hosted by boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother, ex-Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.

Swift's appearance coincided with the announcement of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, which will drop on Oct. 3.

Swift covered a host of topics, including meeting Travis Kelce.

She also talked about learning football. Essentially, she went from knowing little to nothing about the game by her own admission to becoming a knowledgeable fan. Specifically, she talked about following the 2024 NFL draft and celebrating when the Chiefs selected Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy as well as her knowledge of different types of defenses and coverages.

She also has great respect for Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

Swift discussed her own music career, too, including the long journey toward buying her masters back.

Swift also talked about her experience about the historic Eras Tour.

There were also some random one-off moments where fans learned more about Kelce and Swift, including Kelce's love of wild otters.

The stream ran uninterrupted for nearly an hour and 45 minutes, and there were over 1.3 million viewers live. Then the feed cut out, leading to this New Heights joke.

Indiana Fever star Caitin Clark even weighed in on the matter.
