Jalen Hurts Talks Potential Eagles Super Bowl Repeat, 'Why Can't I Do It Again?
Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts isn't letting the team's Super Bowl win last season affect his motivation to chase another ring.
While speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Hurts answered affirmatively when asked if his first Super Bowl win makes him more confident in the Eagles' chances to repeat and win another one this season.
"When you get a promotion, do you think you're more confident? … You chase a dream, and everybody's dream is to do it, and once you know you can, it brings a sense of assurance that you can," Hurts said, per The Athletic's Zach Berman. "… It's a matter of, if I've done it before, why can't I do it again?"

The Eagles remain one of the top title contenders in the NFL after retaining most of the core from last season's championship team. Philadelphia also scored a win off the field when a proposal to ban the team's famous "Tush Push" play failed to pass.
Hurts produced 18 passing touchdowns and 14 rushing touchdowns last season, maintaining his status as one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the league. He will have to be at the top of his game once again if he hopes to achieve his goal of adding a second championship ring to his mantle.
