Shilo Sanders Gifts Mom His 1st NFL Game-Worn Jersey on Video After Bucs Debut

Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie safety Shilo Sanders surprised his mother, Pilar Sanders, by gifting her with his first-ever game-worn jersey.

Sanders, who played college football at Jackson State and then Colorado for his father, Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, made his debut on Saturday in a 29-7 win over the Tennessee Titans.

Sanders performed well, registering one quarterback hit and one solo tackle. Both were big plays.

The QB hit blew up a 1st-and-10 opportunity for the Titans, who had the ball on the Tampa Bay 28-yard line.

Tennessee later converted the first down, but its drive ended on the Tampa Bay nine-yard line via turnover-on-downs.

Later on, Sanders stopped Titans running back Kalel Mullings, who gained four yards on 2nd-and-7 to set up 3rd-and-3 from the Tennessee 28-yard line. A false start and an incomplete pass ended the scoring threat and forced a Titan punt.

The undrafted Sanders made a good first impression in real game action as he fights to make the active roster. He and the Bucs now move onto the second of their three preseason games when they visit the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET.
