NFL Exec Says Jayden Daniels Tops Dak Prescott, Jalen Hurts as Best Passer in NFC East
The NFC East had three quarterbacks in the second tier of the Quarterback Tiers list compiled by Mike Sando of The Athletic, who polled 50 NFL coaches and executives to compile his rankings.
But it was Washington Commanders' young star Jayden Daniels, the defending Offensive Rookie of the Year, who ranked highest amongst the NFC East quarterbacks, and not defending Super Bowl champion Jalen Hurts or Dallas Cowboys' quarterback Dak Prescott.
"He is probably the best passer in our division," an NFC East voter told Sando regarding Daniels. "He is really good."

Daniels ranked No. 6 overall and was the top passer in Tier 2, followed by Hurts (tied for ninth with C.J. Stroud) and Prescott (12th).
"They tried to throw it more early in the year," a defensive coordinator said of Hurts. "He could not do that, so they said, 'Screw it, run the ball 40 times a game.' I still gave Hurts a [second-tier vote]. He is a winner, and he can do it sometimes."
Eleven voters placed Hurts in Tier 3, however.
