Tyler Shough had an up-and-down preseason debut for the New Orleans Saints.

Shough threw a pick six, but he rallied back to throw a 54-yard touchdown pass against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The pick six occurred on New Orleans' second drive of the second half.

Shough immediately responded on the next drive with a 54-yard touchdown pass to Mason Tipton.

Shough threw for 165 yards in extended playing time after Spencer Rattler started the game for the Saints.

Shough and Rattler's next chance to battle for the starting job comes next Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
