Tottenham Transfer News: Benjamin Stambouli Bid Made by PSG, Latest Rumours
A summer exit from White Hart Lane is looking ever more likely for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Benjamin Stambouli after it emerged Paris Saint-Germain have tabled a bid for his signature.
According to RMC, PSG and Stambouli have a agreed to a four-year deal, via Jonathan Johnson of Bleacher Report
Spurs accepted a £5.5 million offer from Watford earlier this month after the Hornets made former Tottenham anchor Etienne Capoue their record signing at the beginning of July.
Simon Johnson of the London Evening Standard wrote that move has been postponed, however, as Stambouli hopes to fill a central-midfield void at PSG following Yohan Cabaye's transfer to Crystal Palace.
Montpellier academy graduate Stambouli moved to north London in 2014 after spending a decade with the French outfit, playing a hand in their triumphant 2011-12 Ligue 1 campaign.
The 24-year-old has made only 12 Premier League appearances for Spurs, however, and seems surplus to requirements after managing just four starts under Mauricio Pochettino last season.
