Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Sanders completed 11-of-18 passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns in the first half while guiding Cleveland to a 14-7 halftime lead.
The former Colorado star, a fifth-round pick in the NFL draft, hit wide receiver Kaden Davis for both of his touchdowns. The two scores occurred in the second quarter, first from seven yards out before Sanders found Davis for a 12-yarder.
It was undoubtedly a good showing from Sanders, who also got praise from his father, Colorado football head coach and Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders.
Sanders endured a tough fall in the draft after long being considered a first-rounder before going 144th overall. One preseason half obviously isn't going to quiet critics, but most importantly, Sanders looked good in his first real NFL action as he embarks upon his pro career.
