The Little League Softball World Series continued on Friday with a pair of games to determine the final competitors in the de-facto semifinal round.

Friday Results

Southwest Region (Tulsa, Oklahoma) 3, Southeast Region (Lake Mary, Florida) 1

Central (Floyds Knobs, Indiana) 1, Asia-Pacific (Iwate, Japan) 0

Southwest 3, Southeast 1

In the first game, the Southwest Regional squad (Tulsa, Oklahoma) defeated the Southeast Regional team (Lake Mary, Florida) 3-1.

Harmoneigh White hit a two-run, walkoff homer to center field with none out in the bottom of the sixth to seal the victory.

White also got the win on the mound, tossing a complete game while striking out seven and allowing just three hits and one walk.

Southeast got on the board in the first inning with Addison Bono's RBI single, but Southwest matched that effort in the second with an RBI single of its own courtesy of Bella Hood.

Central 1, Asia-Pacific 0

Briley Mercer struck out 12 batters in a complete game, two-hit shutout to lead Central (Floyds Knobs, Indiana) to a 1-0 win over Asia-Pacific (Iwate, Japan).

Mercer got a clutch final out in the bottom of the sixth to end the game. Asia-Pacific had a runner on third, but Mercer fielded a groundout right back to her and tossed to first to end the threat and game.

Kennedy Nickels' RBI single in the top of the fourth led to the game's lone run, scored by Sawyer Abel.

Nickels went 2-for-2 on the day.

What's Next

Both semifinal games will occur on Saturday.

Southwest now advances to the championship game on its side of the bracket (Purple Championship) against Mid-Atlantic (Johnstown, Pennsylvania) for a 5 p.m. ET battle.

Central is also headed to the championship game on the Orange side of the bracket. The host state, North Carolina (Winterville), awaits in the title game at 2 p.m.

The consolation game will go down on Sunday at noon ET. The championship game will follow at 3 p.m.
