FedEx St. Jude Championship Leaderboard 2025, Top Scorecards, Player Stats on Day 2

Tommy Fleetwood put himself in terrific position to win his first PGA Tour event on Friday.

The Englishman carded a 64 to leap out to a four-shot lead over Collin Morikawa among others at the FedEx St Jude Championship

Fleetwood owns two of the 10 rounds of 65 or better at TPC Southwind this week.

The 63-64 combo from the first two rounds not only put Fleetwood in position to win, but also to chase down Scottie Scheffler in the FedEx Cup standings.

Scheffler enters Saturday six shots back of Fleetwood at seven-under after a second-round 66.

The second round did not finish on Friday. Inclement conditions forced the second round to be suspended until Saturday morning.

Tommy Fleetwood Opens Up Lead

Fleetwood used a pair of birdie streaks to break away from the field.

The Englishman produced three straight birdies on the second through fourth holes and four in a row from the 13th through 16th holes.

The lone blemish on his scorecard was a bogey on the 18th hole.

The bogey took away the chance for Fleetwood to card back-to-back 63s to start the tournament.

Nevertheless, Fleetwood holds a four-shot lead going into Saturday and he’s played the best golf of anyone in the field.

Collin Morikawa Makes Charge Into Second Place

Collin Morikawa is undergoing a resurgence in Memphis.

The two-time major winner struggled for most of the year, but he’s put things together so far in Memphis. Prior to this week, Morikawa missed the cut in two straight tournaments and had one top-10 finish after April.

Morikawa produced a five-under 65 on Friday that was highlighted by an eagle on the ninth hole.

After his 66-65 start, Morikawa appears to be the biggest threat to Fleetwood outside of Scheffler.

Scottie Scheffler Sits Six Shots Back

FedEx St. Jude Championship 2025 - Round Two

Scottie Scheffler is hanging back at seven-under.

He hasn’t played the best golf in the field this week, but he’s been good enough to be in contention on the weekend.

Scheffler produced a four-under round to get within six strokes of Fleetwood and two shots of the handful of players tied for second.

Scheffler had to battle to card his 66, though, as he had four bogeys and three birdies on the back nine alone.

If he eliminates the bad shots, Scheffler can make a serious charge at the lead on Sunday.

At minimum, another solid round can help him extend his lead over everyone in the FedEx Cup standings. He entered Memphis with a 1,000-point lead over everyone left in the hunt for the FedEx Cup.
