Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Milton is expected to serve as Dak Prescott's backup in 2025 after Dallas acquired him in an April trade with the New England Patriots.
New England selected the 25-year-old with a sixth-round pick in the 2024 NFL draft, as he showcased his arm strength throughout the pre-draft process.
Milton recorded a throw of 62 miles per hour at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, the hardest among all quarterbacks to participate.
He's continued to display his ability to effortlessly launch deep passes with Dallas in practice.
Milton only appeared in one game with New England, as he primarily spent his rookie year behind Drake Maye and Jacoby Brissett on the team's depth chart.
He finally made his NFL debut in Week 18 and looked sharp, finishing 22-of-29 for 241 yards and a touchdown without getting picked off. Milton also scored on the ground.
The second-year passer should see plenty of action in the preseason for the Cowboys, as they're scheduled to face the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET.
