Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Richardson had no protection from the right side of his offensive line on the injury-causing sack, but he was criticized for his decision-making on the play.
Richardson was supposed to play more than Daniel Jones on Thursday. Jones was announced as the preseason Week 2 starter. But the Colts' plans changed once Richardson went down.
Jones received an extended look under center, but he didn't impress much.
Jones finished 10-for-21 for 144 yards. He didn't lead the Colts to a touchdown-scoring drive. The Colts kicked three field goals in the first half with Richardson and Jones at the helm.
Jones will get an opportunity to improve in Week 2 of preseason against the Green Bay Packers on August 16. Richardson's status for the rest of preseason won't be known until after the end of Thursday's game.
