Vikings' Jordan Addison Won't Appeal 3-Game NFL Suspension Ahead of 2025 Season
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison doesn't intend to challenge his three-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
Addison told reporters on Wednesday he doesn't intend to appeal the league's decision.
"I’m going to let it go as-is and put it behind me," Addison said.

The NFL announced Addison's suspension on Tuesday, but he is still permitted to participate in training camp activities and preseason games leading up to the regular season.
Addison's suspension stems from his July 2024 arrest on suspicion of DUI when he was found asleep at the wheel of his car near Los Angeles International Airport. His vehicle was blocking lanes on I-105 when officers arrived.
A few weeks after his arrest, Addison was formally charged with two misdemeanors for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving over the legal blood-alcohol limit.
It marked the second consecutive year that Addison had a driving-related legal infraction. He was cited for speeding and reckless driving in July 2023 for driving 140 mph in a 55 mph zone on I-94 in Saint Paul.
Addison originally pleaded not guilty to the two misdemeanor charges in December. His attorneys announced on July 17 their client pleaded guilty to a lesser charge. He is required to pay a fine and complete two online courses, with the goal of getting his probation terminated within six months.
The NFL's collective bargaining agreement does allow players to appeal fines and/or suspensions within three days of the initial announcement.
By serving the suspension, Addison will miss games against the Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons and Cincinnati Bengals. He will make his season debut on Sept. 28 against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.
Addison recorded 875 yards and nine touchdowns in 15 games for the Vikings in 2024.
