Broncos' Bo Nix Talks Visit with Drew Brees in Video, NFL Legend 'Was So Intentional'
Ahead of his second season in the NFL, Bo Nix had the chance to meet with an NFL legend.
The Denver Broncos quarterback recently spent time with former Super Bowl MVP and New Orleans Saints great Drew Brees. Nix said Brees was "so intentional," working with the young quarterback to help him prepare for the season ahead.
"He was so intentional," Nix said on the Scoop City podcast. "Like, okay, a guy like that, I go and hang out with him for a couple hours, a few days. I would understand if you didn't take time and you wanted to just get through it, get over it. I get it, you've got a family, you've got a lot. But he had lists of things that like, 'Hey, this is what I think we should do, let's talk about this, let's go through this operation, let's talk about your routine, this is what works for me.' It was great. Just sitting down and having a few meals with him was the best part. Because, I mean, you go out there and throw, and at some point, we all throw. That's not why you go and hang out with a guy like that. It's just the mental side of the game that you can make strides in. That's what speeds your growth up."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Nix had a strong start to his career last year when he threw for 3,775 passing yards and 29 touchdowns as a rookie, and he's looking to follow that up with even more success this year.
Learning from a player like Brees, who is second on the all-time passing touchdowns list and second on the all-time passing yards list, should set him up for success in Year 2.
