
Little League Softball World Series 2025 Wednesday Bracket Results and Highlights
The Little League Softball World Series continued on Wednesday as two teams looked to take one step closer to a championship.
Here's a look at scores and highlights as some of the world's top young softball players competed in Greenville, North Carolina.

Little League Softball World Series Highlights (Wednesday, Aug. 6)
Central Region 2, Latin America Region 0
Floyds Knobs Community Club from Indiana, representing the Central region, advanced with a 2-0 shutout victory over Cantareira, a team representing the Latin America Region out of São Paulo, Brazil.
Reese Carroll sent home the game-deciding run for Indiana with a hit in the bottom of the second inning.
Indiana then closed out the victory with complete game from pitcher Briley Mercer, who threw 54 strikes on 84 pitches while playing 6.0 innings.
Mercer finished the win having struck out eight batters while allowing four hits and no runs.
While Brazil heads home, Indiana will get a day off after two straight elimination games before resuming play on Friday.
Indiana will next face the losing team of Thursday's game between the North Carolina and Asia-Pacific regions. Whichever team wins on Friday will advance to the Orange championship bracket of the LLS World Series.
Southeast Region 5, Northwest Region 3
An extended rain delay didn't stop Lake Mary Little League of Lake Mary, Florida, from representing the Southeast Region with a 5-3 win on Wednesday over the Northwest's Mill Creek Little League of Mill Creek, Washington.
After play resumed, Alana Luu put Florida on the board first with an RBI single in the top of the fifth inning.
Washington answered with a tying run at the bottom of the frame to send the game to extra innings.
That was when Florida pulled ahead for the last time thanks to an explosive four-run top of the seventh.
Washington answered with two runs in the bottom of the frame, but Florida closed out the win to advance.
Florida now gets a day off before resuming play on Friday. The Southeast's next opponent will be whichever team loses Thursday's game between the Southwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.
